A 40-year-old disappeared in Beauce: the SQ relaunches its search

A major police operation took place in Saint-Georges on Friday to find a 45-year-old man who has been missing for a few days. The search resumed early Saturday morning.

Tommy Lemieux, a man from St-Odilon-de-Cranbourne, in Beauce, has not been seen since the 24 last October. He was then on 140th Street, in Saint-Georges, and traveling aboard a snow-white Kia Soul 2010 registered G14 RVP.

A major deployment of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) was set in motion on Friday to find him. A command post was deployed, police officers on foot, others on mountain bikes and even a drone were put to use, explains Nancy Fournier, spokesperson for the SQ.

Mr. Lemieux was found early Friday, behind a business on boulevard Lacroix, still in Saint-Georges. Unfortunately, the man could not be found.

Tommy Lemieux is 1.78 meters (5’10”) tall and weighs 80 kg (176 lbs). He has shaved brown hair and brown eyes. He also has a tribal tattoo on the top of his right hand, near the thumb.

Any information that may help locate him may be communicated, confidentially, to the Criminal Information Center of the Sûreté du Québec at 1-800-659-4264.
