A Quebecer becomes a millionaire by winning the lottery twice

UPDATE DAY

A resident of the Capitale-Nationale won $1 million at Lotto Max on September 23, just two months after winning $25,000 at Extra.

Luck has never smiled so much on Keven Baribeau than in recent months.

After winning $25,000 at the lottery, the young man became a million dollars richer on his birthday.

He remembers telling his grandmother that very morning that “today was going to be a wicked beautiful day!” But he didn't know how true that statement was until he had his lottery ticket checked.

“OK, it really is a beautiful day!” he exclaimed after scanning his ticket.

“It looks like I jumped, that it stirred in the hut,” said the winner in a video published by Loto -Quebec.

Keven Baribeau has indicated that he wants to make investments to benefit from long-term financial security.

The Maxmillions ticket was purchased at the Proxi Extra convenience store in Sainte- Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier.

At the next Lotto Max draw on Friday, the jackpot will amount to $130 million, i.e. a jackpot of $70 million and approximately 60 prizes of $1M (Maxmillions).
