A Montrealer was caught red-handed after posting a video on Snapchat where he is seen forcefully throwing a kitten, which was rescued by authorities alerted by hundreds of Internet users worried.

Afterwards, the individual holds the tiny kitten in his hand and forcefully throws it into his litter. The video, which was posted on Snapchat on Saturday, created quite an uproar on social media. 

SPCA officers are caring for the kitten after rescuing him.

The Journal has also noted that several Internet users quickly shared with the police and the Montreal SPCA the personal information of the man who mistreated the kitten. 

Hundreds of reports

“We have received hundreds of official reports, calls and messages from people who are shocked, upset and very concerned for the life of the little kitten. “, Says in a press release the SPCA. 

Contacted on this subject, the organization said it was unable to comment further on this matter with our representative due to the ongoing investigation. . 

“Our agents from the Investigations Office obtained a warrant to seize the kitten, which is in fact a small female, and her brother,” it says.

The Montreal SPCA also adds that the two animals are indeed safe in their establishment, without specifying whether the kittens were seriously injured by the Montrealer.
