Ukrainian actress and TV presenter Anna Butkevich has acted as a model on the shows of three designers at New York Fashion Week, which takes place right in these days. Note that from 31 August to 4 September in Kyiv was held the fashion week — Ukrainian Fashion Week spring-summer 2020! This year, in addition to the 45-minute show and presentations with the participation of 64 brands, it offers 5 special projects 6 lectures and a lot of interesting locations.
A few years ago, the actress became the face of the collection by popular Ukrainian designer Andre tan, but her debut as a model has taken place only now, in the framework of NYFW.
In new York, Anna arrived at the special invitation of the company Nolcha was one of the organizers of fashion shows and shows in the new York fashion week. At the end of last year during the filming of the movie in Los Angeles, which will soon be released, Anna was noticed by the producers of the company and then became interested in it as a model.
On the catwalk in new York, the actress showed three conceptual street-style look-and the collections for SS’20.
“To walk the catwalk proved to be quite difficult, but very interesting work, – says Anna. – For two weeks before the show I was ready, “learned to walk” for hours worked with a coach. 42 hours I’ve been practicing the correct posture, pace of walking and breathing! I think now about the model walk I know everything. But I didn’t stop there, and to defile I was treated like a new role. And the fact that the role was without words, was the most interesting. After all, the mood of his images and the collection as a whole needed to transmit and display non-verbal: using gait, movements, expressions, eyes. Incredible experience! Now I’ve seen NYFW, not only from the auditorium but from the podium. And it is no less exciting, believe me!”, — shares emotions and new experience for Anna Butkevich.
