Annual Canadiens blood drive: Carey Price makes a grand presence

UPGRADE DAY

On the occasion of the Montreal Canadiens' annual blood drive, Wednesday at the Bell Centre, those who agreed to make a precious donation had the chance to meet former players of the team, the mascot Youppi! and current roster players, including goaltender Carey Price.

The latter, who remains on the sidelines with knee problems, was on hand with his red sweater on his back and a cap on his head.

The Habs Twitter account showed it when he saluted Youppi! and ex-defender Gaston Gingras.

Price has played only five games in 2021-2022, all in the last month of activity.

General Manager Kent Hughes remains optimistic about his return to competition unless surgery is completed.

According to the Sportsnet network, number 31 will speak with the media on Monday to say more about it.
