Alert by a citizen, the Quebec police arrested three young individuals who allegedly stole a vehicle during the night from Wednesday to Thursday.
The event occurred around 1 a.m., in the Val-Bélair sector, northwest of Quebec. It was the owner of the vehicle in question who contacted the authorities when he realized that he had been the victim of a theft.
The stolen vehicle was quickly located a few kilometers away, on the side of avenue de Laval, in Charlesbourg. Three young men aged 15 to 19 who were on board were arrested.
“ The SPVQ remains more than ever on the lookout for criminal offenses committed on its territory and recalls the importance to file a complaint quickly when this type of event occurs,” explains David Pelletier, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Québec (SPVQ).
