COVID-19: Quebec records 18 additional deaths

Quebec records 18 additional deaths and a drop in hospitalizations.  

The situation as of September 14, 2022:

The most recent data on the evolution of COVID‐19, in the last 24 hours, at Quebec, report: 

• 853 new cases, for a total of 1,187,954 people infected*; 
• 18 new deaths, for a total of 16,512 deaths, i.e.;  
• 1 death in the last 24 hours, 
• 13 deaths in the past two to seven days, 

< li dir="auto">4 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago;
NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number new deaths of the day.  

• 3,595 healthcare workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.); 
• 1,591 hospitalizations, including 541 in due to COVID-19, a decrease of 9 from the previous day;  
• 136 new entries, 
• 145 new discharges;  
• 40 people in intensive care, including 19 due to COVID-19, an increase of 7 compared to the previous day;  
• 11 new entries, 
• 4 new releases; &nbsp ;
• 13,175 samples taken on September 12; 
• 287,166 self-reported rapid tests so far, including 240,626 positives: 190 reported for yesterday, including 159 positives.
