Forward Ryan Francis signed a one-year, one-way deal with the Laval Rocket, affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens in the American Hockey League, on Monday.

The 20-year-old center completed his time in the junior ranks last season, scoring 25 goals and 40 assists for 65 points in 54 games with the Saint John Sea Dogs in the QMJHL .
