Glacier collapse in Italy linked to global warming

The collapse of a glacier in the Italian Alps, which has left at least seven people dead and eight injured according to a new report, is linked to global warming, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said on Monday.
The disaster, which occurred the day after a record temperature of 10°C at the top of the glacier, is linked to “the degradation of the environment and the climatic situation”, a declared on the spot Mr. Draghi, who expressed his “support” for the families of the victims.
