Gunshots on their door reported to police 10 hours later

UPDATE DAY

Shots fired at a residential building in the Saint-Michel district, on the night of Monday to Tuesday, were reported to the authorities about ten hours later, even though people heard the shots.

“I heard the shots, but I was sleeping, so I said fuck it!” candidly launched a resident of the building.

According to our information, three shots were fired at the front door of a six-unit apartment building located on 13th Avenue, near the intersection of Crémazie Boulevard.

The bullets passed through the front door and lodged in the interior stairwell of the building.

Luckily, no one was injured. The suspects have not yet been found.

It was not until late morning, around 11 a.m., that the SPVM police officers were informed of the event after casings were found on the ground near the scene of the shooting.

Investigators and forensic identification technicians went to the scene to try to understand the circumstances of this new episode of armed violence to occur in the metropolis.
