Highland Park shooting killer Robert Crimo got help from his father to get a gun.
In 2020 , his father sponsored his then 19-year-old son to obtain a gun owner's identification card according to information from TMZ.
This card is necessary in order to then want to buy a gun. semi-automatic rifle.
However, in 2019, Robert Crimo had threatened to kill his family.
His parents then decided not to press charges against their son, a decision that could have prevented the authorities from selling him a gun.
