Remember that the first day on Sunday was devoted to testing and off-ice training. The development camp continued until Wednesday with sessions on the ice, in two groups, and an intra-squad game during which Slafkovsky, 18, has already taken the opportunity to make fans dream.
In the draft on Thursday, July 7, the Canadiens preferred to select Slafkovsky, a left winger, rather than center Shane Wright, who was finally called up to fourth overall by the Seattle Kraken.
