Comedian Jean-Marc Parent has once again surpassed the 150,000 ticket sale mark for a solo show.
This time it's with ” Utopia”, his 11th original show, that he crossed this bar. To underline this feat, the experienced comedian was surprised by Mathieu Dufour during the 153rd performance, Tuesday evening at L'Étoile in Brossard.
He was given a huge ticket of shows by the Just for Laughs team, including Marie-Julie Larivière, executive producer of Just for Laughs Spectacles.
Presented since 2018, “Utopia” continues its tour in Quebec until at least the next fall. The previous opus, “Torture”, had sold more than 300,000 tickets.
