Keurig Dr Pepper Canada acquires Atypique beverages

Keurig Dr Pepper Canada announced on Thursday the acquisition of Atypique beverages from the Quebec company Agro-Biotech, which specializes in the production of alcohol-free cocktails. 

< p>The terms of this acquisition, which should be concluded at the beginning of the fourth quarter, have not yet been disclosed by the two partners.

The agreement provides for collaboration between the two companies in the beverages to accelerate brand growth thanks to Station Agro-Biotech's expertise and KDP Canada's solid sales network.

With the addition of the Atypique brand, KDP Canada is strengthening its position in the low-alcohol beverage category which sees a 17% increase in sales in 2022.
