Long-term forecasts

< p> We decided to check for you what the meteorological models say about the coming winter. And so, the experimental long-term forecast presented by the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management shows that the upcoming December temperature throughout the country is to be within the long-term norm.

In the case of the total rainfall, December 2022 will be within the long-term standard only in the south-eastern and northern part of the country. In the remaining area, this standard is to be exceeded.

The temperature in January 2023 is to exceed the long-term standard, although this tendency will not apply to the northern part of Poland. Precipitation throughout the country is to meet the long-term standard.

In February 2023, meteorologists from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management forecast the average temperature in the long-term standard. Above the norm is to be only in the south-eastern part of the country. The sum of rainfall is to be within the long-term norm – the exception will be the northern part of Poland, where these norms will be exceeded.

Remember that long-term forecasts carry a high risk of error. The same applies to the predictions of the future.
