On the occasion of Labor Day on Monday, several service establishments will be closed during the day. Here is a list of what will be open and closed in Quebec during this holiday.

Open

• Convenience stores and tobacconists;
• Gas stations;
• Bookstores;
• Restaurants;
• Certain pharmacies;
• Hospitals;
• SAQ Express branches
• Biodôme, Montreal Botanical Garden and Planetarium;
• Ecocentres;
• A few neighborhood grocery stores

Public transit will be available, but on a Sunday schedule.

Closed

• Supermarkets;
• Shopping malls;

• Offices of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ);
• Passport Canada offices;
• Banks/Caisses;
• Most government offices;
• Accès Montréal offices (BAM) and co permit counters
• Libraries.
• Service counters and courtrooms of the Municipal Court of Montreal
• Certain sports and leisure activities
