L&évis: stopped with more than four times the legal limit

A 44-year-old man was nabbed in Lévis on Wednesday night for being behind the wheel with more than four times the legal blood alcohol limit.

According to the Service de police de la Ville de Lévis (SPVL), the man, originally from Lévis, first made a failed attempt at shoplifting in a supermarket on Route du Président-Kennedy.

It was while meeting him that the police noted the condition of the driver while he was in his vehicle, not far from the business, shortly before 9 p.m.

Subsequent tests then confirmed his very advanced state of intoxication.

The SPVL was unable to say whether this individual has a history of impaired driving. < /p>
