Military helicopters in exercise in the sky in Montérégie and Estrie

Three military helicopters will conduct training flights over the areas of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Cowansville and Farnham on July 11 and 12, 2022.
These are three CH-147F Chinooks from 450 Tactical Helicopter Squadron, Petawawa, Ontatio, National Defense said in a statement Monday.
“Helicopter crews from the Royal Canadian Air Force are honing their skills to be ready for any potential operation. This specific scenario simulates the response to a natural disaster in Canada. Canadian Armed Forces operations of this nature are referred to as Operation LENTUS,” it said.
The CH-147F Chinook is a modern multipurpose helicopter used to transport equipment and personnel intended for operations at home and abroad.
