A 7-year-old child is said to be in very serious condition after receiving a “metal object” on the head, Monday afternoon, in the backyard of a residence in Massueville, near Sorel -Tracy, in Montérégie.
The tragedy occurred around 2:45 p.m., at the back of a single-family house on rue Montcalm.
According to our information, two children were having fun in the backyard and one of them entered the house to inform the people present that the other kid was not moving.
When adults approached the young victim, she was bleeding profusely and a “metal object” was nearby.
According to the authorities, everything suggests that it was a 'an accident, but the circumstances were still unclear in the middle of the afternoon.
The child was taken care of by the emergency services and is in very critical condition.
An investigation has been opened for establish what happened.
