Shots were heard in the Saint-Michel district of Montreal overnight from Saturday to Sunday, but no injuries were reported.
< p>The 9-1-1 call was made around 2:45 a.m. to report gunshots heard at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Villeray Street, in the Saint-Michel borough, according to Montreal Police Service (SPVM) spokesperson Marianne Allard-Morin.
Casing casings were found, and witnesses reportedly saw a suspicious vehicle leave the scene.
The scene was protected and the canine unit was dispatched to the scene.
The investigation will have to determine the causes and circumstances of the event.
