Neuville: SQ policeman injured after collision

A Sûreté du Québec (SQ) police officer was slightly injured after being involved in a collision with two other vehicles on Route 138, Saturday evening, in Neuville, in the Capitale- Nationale.

The patroller was traveling eastbound around 6:30 p.m. when a vehicle in the opposite direction lightly hit a car in front of the police officer, before colliding with the SQ vehicle.

The police officer then left the road, said SQ spokesman Stéphane Tremblay .

The driver responsible was allegedly unwell or fell asleep and was therefore assessed on the spot. The patroller was taken to a hospital center for prevention.
