The Indianapolis Colts released kicker Rodrigo Blankenship on Tuesday.
According to the NFL Network, the club made the decision after the 25-year-old missed a 42-yard field goal attempt in overtime last Sunday against the Houston Texans.
The two teams involved in this duel ultimately tied 20-20.< /p>

The Indianapolis organization also offered contracts to kickers Chase McLaughlin and Lucas Havrisik. Both men have been inserted into the club's training squad.
