Athletes competing in the 55th Final of the Quebec Games-Laval set new marks. Allow me today to pay tribute to the medalists by highlighting the performances of a few athletes.

During a game Rich in emotions, the South Shore baseball team won the grand final of the Jeux du Québec-Laval against Mauricie in overtime.   

Caly Mounkala, from Laval , who trains at Stade Claude-Ferragne, won the youth 100m in athletics.

Criterium U17 medal-winning cyclists Abigaël Fortier (silver), from the Capitale-Nationale, and Raphaëlle Houde (bronze), from the South Shore, surround Naomie Julien, from Laval, who won the gold medal.

Gold medalist in the 5 km Individual Classic in swimming, William Morin, of Montreal, is flanked by silver winner, Mikaël Janvier, of Lac-Saint-Louis, and bronze medalist, Vincent Lévesque , of the Capitale-Nationale. 

Gold medalist in U15 cross-country short circuit mountain biking, Julia Renaud, from the Capitale-Nationale, is surrounded by silver medalist Éliane Blais, from the Laurentians, and bronze medalist Élodie Malois, from the South Shore.

Gold medalist in mountain biking, Rafaelle Carrier, from the Capitale-Nationale, is surrounded by silver medalist Ayana Gagné, from Estrie, and Maude Ruelland, bronze medalist, from the Capitale-Nationale.

The triathlon, which includes swimming, cycling and running, was won by Béatrice Normand, from the Sud-Ouest delegation.

Gold medalists in the two-ball, best-ball golf competition, Louanne Aubin and Mercedes St-Onge, of the Côte-Nord, are flanked by silver medalists Élizabeth Dufresne and Seanna Wang, of the South Shore, and bronze medalists Sofia de Zordo and Rose Morisset, from the Laurentians.
