The Intimist is 25 years old
One of the best restaurants in the Quebec region and certainly on the South Shore of Quebec, L'Intimiste, at 31, avenue Bégin in Lévis, celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2022. Martin Patry(pictured) was 21 at the time (1997). He had just finished his studies in catering and had decided to open his restaurant. Initially, the restaurant only had the dining room (about forty seats). It was only later, in 2003, that the “lounge” or bistro side (another 40 seats) was added. Over the years, Martin bought the building and carried out work to expand the kitchens, among other things. With some normality returning, the restaurant, which is only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, is expected to reopen for dinners over the next few weeks.
