Packers: David Bakhtiari resumes training...solo< /p> UPDATE DAY

Recovered from a knee injury that required three surgeries, David Bakhtiari trained alone with his Green Bay Packers teammates on Sunday.

Head coach Matt LaFleur announced in a press briefing, moments before the day's training session, that the name of the tackle on the left had been removed from the list of players “physically unable to participate ”.

LaFleur, however, tried to lower expectations of a return to play in the first week of the season.

“For now, it's only for individual exercises, the pilot said according to the ESPN network. It's only a step, but we're happy to see him on the pitch. We're going one day at a time.”

Bakhtiari tore an anterior cruciate ligament on December 31, 2020 in training. Since then, he has only appeared in one game; it was the last of the Packers at the end of last season.

Bakhtiari, who will begin his 10th NFL campaign at age 30, has been invited to the Pro Bowl three times.
