President of Ukrainian Association football (UAF), Andrey Pavelko paid FIFA a fine of 10 thousand Swiss francs for the support of the Croat domagoj Vida, according to the Washington Post.
To this kind of punishment Pavelko was subjected to a public objection against the decision of FIFA to warn the player of national team of Croatia for the video during the world Cup 2018 in Russia. We will remind, after a victory over the Russian team in the quarterfinals of the Species recorded the video with the phrase “Glory to Ukraine”.
“(Andriy Pavelko – approx. LB.ua) has agreed to pay a fine in the amount of 10 000 Swiss francs (us$ 10 300) for his behavior, and this is the only thing signed agreement on the admission of guilt. None of these facts has nothing to do with other issues that could or could be investigated by police authorities and/or football governing bodies in connection with the activities of Mr. Pavelko as a football official”, – quotes the FIFA edition of the Washington Post.
Previously, FIFA has announced that it has sent Domagoj warning for the above video, since any discrimination or political position players is prohibited.
However, his ex-partner in the “Dynamo” Ognjen Vukojevic has dedicated the victory over the hosts of the world Cup team in Kiev and Ukraine.
He kind of said that his statement had political overtones.
