CF Montreal forward Romell Quioto was named to the Major League Soccer (MLS) final week's XI on Monday.
The Honduran player is having a brilliant 2022 season, as he showed again on Saturday at Stade Saputo, in a 4-0 win over the New England Revolution. In 73 minutes of play, he collected two goals and an assist, firing six shots.
Quioto began his work of demolishing the “Revs” in the 26th minute by serving a cross to Kei Kamara, who gave CF the lead. Then, shortly before half-time, he accepted a pass from Lassi Lappalainen to double the priority of the home favorites, before capitalizing on a relay from Samuel Piette on the return from the locker room to take his campaign tally to 14.
The veteran has scored eight goals in his last eight games.
The Montreal team will visit the Chicago Fire on Saturday.
