Russian propagandist suggests burning or drowning Ukrainian children< /p> UPDATE DAY

A Russian journalist and presenter for the Russia Today (RT) channel, funded by Moscow, made remarks very controversial in an interview recently broadcast on the Russian-language channel.

In an excerpt relayed on social networks, Anton Krassovski openly calls on the Russian army to commit more abuses towards the Ukrainian population, including children.

He suggested drowning Ukrainian children who believe their country is illegally occupied by Russians.

Krassovski even made remarks relating to genocidal practices, calling for the burning of “problematic” children in locked and protected huts, reports the British daily Mirror.

“Children [Ukrainians] should be drowned in the Tysyna river (…). Otherwise, put the children in huts and burn them,” he said with a smirk.

A war that does not go far enough, according to him

Later in the interview, he expresses his wish that the Russian army intensify the bombardments in Ukraine. Two weeks ago, he rejoiced at the massive strikes on the country's electrical installations.

“[Strikes] are not enough! Not enough!” provocative remarks by the Russian presenter.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to the extract. He urges countries that have not banned Russia Today (RT)since the invasion began in February to do so as quickly as possible.

“Governments that have not banned RT should watch this clip. If you accept this channel in your country, it means that you support these words. These statements represent aggressive incitement to genocide. Ban RT everywhere in the world”, he said on his Twitter account in the morning.

In March 2022, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) took the decision to ban the broadcasting of the RT and RT France channels, financed by the Kremlin.
