Stéphan Bureau unveils the setting for his show «Le world upside down

DAY

Stéphan Bureau unveiled the setting for his show “Le monde à l'envers” on Friday, where he will surround himself each week with panelists and guests who will debate, for 90 minutes and live, hot topics in the news and social issues.

Presented on Friday evening from TVA's Studio A, the event will also welcome the public from September 16. People in the room as well as viewers and listeners – the show will be simulcast on QUB radio – will be able to participate.

Friday morning, as we were getting ready to shoot another pilot one week before the big premiere, Stéphan Bureau and his team unveiled the set, which includes the show's huge logo from and on the other side of the circular stage where five desks are arranged.

Each week, four regular collaborators – from a panel of eight – will cross swords, debating with respect and pleasure all the current topics of the week or even of the day.

The team of Sphère Média and Stéphan Bureau insisted that there be people from all walks of life around the table, in order to reflect a plurality of voices and opinions. The important thing, it was said, is to learn or relearn how to debate without insulting each other and without attacking each other, as is often the case on social networks, a phenomenon that the pandemic has exacerbated.

During Friday's presentation, Stéphan Bureau was surrounded by his collaborators Yasmine Abdelfadel, Biz, Louise Deschâtelets, Sophie Durocher and Guy Nantel. Gregory Charles, Raed Hammoud and Richard Martineau will also be on hand during the season.

The show “Le monde à l'envers” will be presented live every Friday at 8 p.m. September on TVA and on QUB radio, as well as on LCN every Saturday at the same time.
