Forward Matt Moulson officially announced on Monday that he was hanging up his skates.
Last week, his name appeared on the Maples' website Toronto Leafs as a professional scout. The 38-year-old has yet to publicly announce what appears to be his new job.
Moulson has played 650 National Hockey League (NHL) games, playing for Los Angeles Kings, New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabers and Minnesota Wild. In addition, he played 424 games in the American Hockey League (AHL). The North York, Ont., native has spent the last five seasons on the development circuit, including the last three seasons with the Bears.

In 2021-2022, Moulson amassed five goals and 12 assists for 17 points in 24 games.
