The return of the FADOQ Show


No less than 250 exhibitors will be waiting for you at the ninth Salon FADOQ 50 ans + in the regions of Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches from September 30 to October 2 at the ExpoCité Fair Center in Quebec City. Presented by the Pro-Expo Group, the 2022 Show will be in line with previous editions: offering free to people aged 50 and over all the information they are looking for to make their life easier and more beautiful. In addition to meeting seasoned professionals in the many kiosks, you can attend a wide variety of conferences, all free, and in particular those given by personalities from here on well-chosen topics. Olivier Bernard(photo 1), the famous pharmacist, and Yvon Dallaire, the psychologist specializing in marital happiness, will be on site on Friday, September 30.Marthe Laverdière (2), the outspoken horticulturist, and Isabelle Huot (3), the columnist dietitian, will be there on Saturday, October 1, and comedian François Massicotte(4) will present its show on Sunday, October 2 at 2 p.m. More than 19,000 visitors came to Salon FADOQ during the last presentation in 2019. 

The Leucan Hope Earrings

Leucan has teamed up again (for a ninth year) with the Mia jewelry store to sell a new model of Espoir Leucan earrings available in three colors: gold, silver and rose gold. This new model, for adults and children, has been available since September 7 in limited quantities (8,000) on the Mia Bijoux website and at all Mia kiosks. For each pair sold, $20 will be donated to the association. Pictured are the four young spokespersons for the 2022 campaign: Arianne Côté, 17, has Hodgkin lymphoma; Mélorie Fortin, 18, has rhabdomyosarcoma; Maella Célestin, 14, has acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and Laurence Légaré, 17, has acute myeloid leukemia. Sing the apple?

The Choeur de l'Isle d'Orléans is in the midst of recruiting choristers in anticipation of the new season. The musical director of the Chœur, François Choquette, awaits you on September 12 and 19, starting at 7 p.m., at the church of Sainte-Pétronille, on Île-d’Orléans, to offer you the chance to join the team. Founded in January 1996, the Chœur (photo) is made up of around forty singers and draws its repertoire from the wide range of French-speaking song, whether folk or contemporary, with a few nods to the classical side.
