Two youths were reportedly targeted by suspects who opened fire in their direction on the grounds of an elementary school in the borough of Anjou, east of Montreal.
According to the first information collected from witnesses of the scene by the police, the suspects would have arrived by car and would have opened fire in the direction of their two victims who were on the ground of the Roseraies school, at the corner of avenue des Jalesnes and boulevard des Galeries d'Anjou, around 8 p.m.
No one does not appear to have been injured during the shooting, said officer Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
Cases were found at the scene, as well as a projectile impact in a school window.
The suspects and victims fled after the shooting. The police have opened an investigation to try to find the perpetrators of this new shooting.
