University of Toronto finished in 18th place in the list of the largest and most diverse universities according to the rating Education’the Times Higher’s World University in 2020.
This year, in this ranking the University of Toronto evaluated higher than in the previous one, which allowed us to get into the top twenty.
The rating examines nearly 1,400 “research oriented” universities in 92 countries around the world, based on “13 carefully selected criteria that measure the value of the University in teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international prestige”.
First place in the list is the University of Oxford for the fourth year in a row. In the second place California Institute of Technology, and the third University of Cambridge.
But with regard to canadian universities, only 5 entered the hundred of the leaders. University of British Columbia on the 34th place, McGill University 42, McMaster University 72, University of Montreal 85.
For the University of Toronto is the highest position since 2011. And last year the school took the 20-th line.
