The Chicago Blackhawks revealed on Wednesday that former player Marian Hossa's jersey retirement ceremony will take place November 20 at the United Center. 

For the occasion, the Pittsburgh Penguins – another team for which the former striker played during his 19 seasons career in the National League – will be in the Windy City. 

The 43-year-old Slovak's number 81 will join in the heights of the Hawks' home those of seven big names in the club's history, including Denis Savard (18), Stan Mikita (21) and Bobby Hull (9).

Hossa played in Chicago from 2009 to 2017 and helped them win three Stanley Cups. He totaled 415 points in 514 regular season games with the organization, adding 73 points in 107 playoff games.

Before finishing his athletic career in Illinois, Hossa played for the Ottawa Senators. Ottawa, Atlanta Thrashers, Penguins and Detroit Red Wings.
